Pineapple Party Table Runner is a quirky, fun appliqué project that uses simple techniques to create a truly eye-catching display. Perfect for spring and summer, this design features a variety of fabric collections from Benartex and Timeless Treasure Fabrics. A lively mix of batiks and prints, combined with Beach Potato Embroidery™ glitter fabric, is sure to brighten any table.
Four of the five pineapples are constructed using three shades of yellow batiks and incorporate both appliqué and flip-and-fold techniques to achieve a beautifully pieced look. The fifth pineapple showcases detailed stitching that highlights the sparkle of the glitter fabric. The stunning fabric used for the sashing and border is quilted in the hoop with a hibiscus flower motif, tying the entire project together.
